The padding under a laminate

The description

The padding under a laminate is made from extruded polystyrene. The primary goal of the padding under a laminate is the contiguity elimination between the laminate and the floor basis. The main following goals are attained: sound insulation, heat - and a waterproofing.

The padding under a laminate from polystyrene, 3ìì, a sheet (1000õ500)

The padding under a laminate from polystyrene, 5ìì, a sheet (1000õ500)

The technical characteristics

Thickness - 3 mm, 5 mm.
Moisture absorption - 0,08 %
Load stability - 5 t/m2
Eliminates the surface roughness - 2,25 mm.
Density - 40kg/m3
The size of a sheet - 1000 x 500 mm.
In packing: 3 ìì=60 ì2, 5 ìì=35 ì2

The laying

The padding sheets are packed up on a concrete surface with the humidity no more then 3 %. It is necessary to cover the surface with a waterproof film in the thickness of 0,2 mm.

The padding sheets are necessary to pack up in displaced lines(a minimum of 50 cm) among themselves , with their strips down, with clearances between sheets in 2 mm. It is possible to stick the sheets together with a sticky tape, leaving the distance of 10 mm between a padding and walls, so you except the possibility of moving a laid lining and distance stabilization between them. The side of laying a padding should be located perpendicularly to the side of laying the laminate plates.

Attention:

  1. It is necessary to avoid the coincidence of padding connections to connections of a surface of the laminate plates.
  2. It is necessary to replace the damaged sheet.
  3. It is necessary to avoid a walking down the padding but if it is such necessity try to use footwear without a protector.
