Bolta SL 47/48


The plinth description

The plinth Bolta SL 47 made of foam PVC, is intended for furnish of the laminated floors, carpet coverings, linoleum and a ceramic tile.

The plinth installation is carried out on the special fixing element which fastens directly to a wall with the dowel-nails.

The plinths made of foam from company "Bolta" are presented by two basic positions:

  1. SL 47 – the economy variant
  2. SL 48 – a classical variant

The plinth Bolta is of high quality. Their distinctive feature is the rigid covering of a face sheet that’s why these positions are protected from the scratches and similar damages. But it is necessary to notice that the colour scale of the company Bolta’s plinths is not so natural like Dollken pp 46 for example. Besides, Bolta SL 48 is a rather expensive plinth (Bolta SL 48 has the same price as the plinth with the cable-channel, but not so convenient), and Bolta SL 47 is thin enough that’s why people usually choose Korner LS 48, which has the same price as Bolta SL 47.

A floor plinth installation

  1. To draw the premise drawing where the plinth installation is planned
  2. To count the necessary quantity of accessories – the internal and external corners, face chokes, connecting and fixing elements
  3. To get the necessary quantity of a material at your supplier
  4. If it is necessary you should cut the plinth
  5. Mount the fastening to a wall, drill an aperture using the paper tape punch
  6. Fix the fastening using a dowel and a screw to a wall (the interval no more than 50 cm)
  7. Put the plinth parallel to a wall and latch it on fastenings

ATTENTION! The fastening or plinth damages are possible at wrong installation.
